Dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, a scientific and practical conference titled “The Development of Information Technologies as a Factor of Sustainable Tourism Development in the Republic of Tajikistan” was held at the Faculty of Economics and Management, Department of Tourism and Services of the Tajik-Russian Slavic University.
The event brought together professors, students, representatives of relevant institutions, and industry experts to discuss the role of modern information technologies in the development of the tourism sector, the promotion of Tajikistan’s tourism potential at the international level, and the attraction of more domestic and international tourists.
Participants emphasized that digital technologies, including modern tourism websites, social media, electronic services, and mobile applications, play an essential role in advancing the sector, improving service quality, and enhancing tourism culture.
During the conference, scientific reports were presented by professors and students, addressing the development of eco-tourism, mountain tourism, cultural tourism, and digital services. At the conclusion of the event, participants highlighted the importance of such scientific forums in promoting tourism development and increasing the educational awareness of young people.
