On August 22–23, 2026, as part of the celebrations marking the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, Dushanbe will host the Days of Culture of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Oblast, Khorugh city, and the districts of Ishkashim, Murghob, Roshtqala and Fayzabad.
On August 22, the Days of Culture of Ishkashim and Murghob districts will be held at the Children’s Park, while Khorugh city and Roshtqala district will present their cultural programs at Iram Park.
On August 23, the Day of Culture of Fayzabad District will take place at the Abulqosim Firdavsi Cultural and Recreational Park, while the Day of Culture of GBAO will be held at Iram Park.
Residents and visitors of the capital will have an opportunity to discover the cultural and artistic achievements of the country’s regions.
