Construction of Tourism Infrastructure Facilities is Expanding in Mastchoh District

As part of the constructive initiatives dedicated to the great national celebration — the 35th Anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan — greater attention is being paid in Mastchoh District to the construction of tourism infrastructure facilities, creating favorable and promising conditions for the further development of this sector.
In this regard, a number of facilities with modern architectural designs, meeting international standards and incorporating elements of national architecture, are being built in the district. Construction work in this area is continuing steadily.
In particular, within the territory of the Mastchoh rural jamoat, near the roadside and above a canal, a social service facility — a national cuisine center named “Didori Dust” — has been constructed and is now fully prepared for operation. This center is ready to welcome both domestic and foreign guests and tourists at a high standard.
Overall, the facility includes a spacious hall and separate rooms with attractive design, providing all the necessary conditions for quality service. The organizers intend to offer visitors a wide variety of national dishes prepared and served with a high level of professionalism.

With the commissioning of this facility, up to 20 local residents will be provided with jobs and decent wages.
At present, the number of hotels in the district has reached three, and the construction of several additional hotels is also planned.
According to Hafizkhon Fayziev, Head of the Department of Economic Development and Trade of the Executive Body of State Power of Mastchoh District, the construction of such facilities is of great importance for the development of tourism infrastructure and the improvement of service standards.
At the same time, “Rahimi” Hotel, located along the international highway Dushanbe – Khujand – Chanak, offers all the necessary conditions for comfortable accommodation. The hotel consists of 13 rooms and can accommodate 1 to 3 guests in separate rooms.
The construction of modern service facilities, including small hotels, restaurants, and traditional teahouses, along with the reconstruction and modernization of roads, the preservation and promotion of historical monuments, and the provision of high-quality services, is regarded as one of the key factors in aligning the tourism sector with modern development requirements.
