The achievements of the Republic of Tajikistan in the fields of environmental protection and climate action were presented at the international exhibition “Eco Expo Central Asia 2026” held in Samarkand.
The national pavilion of the Republic of Tajikistan was organized by the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, which also led and coordinated the participation of the Tajik delegation at the exhibition.
The Tajikistan pavilion served as a platform for showcasing the country’s achievements, priorities, and initiatives in environmental protection, climate resilience, biodiversity conservation, sustainable water resource management, and the development of a green economy.
Visitors and participants had the opportunity to learn about Tajikistan’s unique natural heritage, including its glaciers, mountain ecosystems, specially protected natural areas, and measures aimed at conserving rare and endangered wildlife species, particularly the snow leopard.
Tajikistan’s participation in “Eco Expo Central Asia 2026” once again demonstrated the country’s commitment to the principles of environmental sustainability and regional cooperation. It also provided an important opportunity to promote national achievements and strengthen partnerships for addressing environmental challenges across the Central Asian region.
