According to information provided by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan, 578 contestants will participate in the third round of the republican contest “Tajikistan — My Beloved Homeland”. Of this number, 260 participants are aged between 12 and 17, while 318 are between 18 and 35 years old.
The second round of the contest was held from 22 to 30 June, with 2,677 contestants taking part.
Following the results of the second round, 86 participants from the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, 120 from Khatlon Region, 135 from Sughd Region, and 100 from the districts under central government jurisdiction qualified for the republican round.
A total of 138 participants from Dushanbe qualified for the final stage of the contest, including 75 participants aged 18 to 35 and 57 participants aged 12 to 17.
It should be recalled that the republican contest “Tajikistan — My Beloved Homeland” is held pursuant to an Executive Order of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon. The contest aims to identify new artistic talents, enhance the professional standing and skills of young people and adolescents, further promote excellence in performing arts, improve the professional quality of new musical works, and preserve and promote valuable national traditions and the rich cultural heritage of the ancestors.
