The outreach and awareness-raising campaign of the “Voice of Unity-Loving Mothers” group, bringing together active women from across Tajikistan, continues throughout the districts and cities of Khatlon Region. This time, the delegation visited the districts of Farkhor and Mir Sayyid Ali Hamadoni.
In Farkhor, the guests received a warm welcome from local authorities and residents through a cultural program reflecting the rich traditions of Tajik hospitality. The delegation visited the district’s Museum of History and Local Lore, where they explored archaeological artifacts dating back nearly six thousand years, along with exhibits highlighting the region’s historical and cultural heritage.
Particular interest was shown in an exhibition dedicated to the legacy of the late renowned artist Muqaddas Nabieva. A performance of one of her popular songs by a participant in the national competition “Tajikistan – My Beloved Homeland” created an atmosphere of pride and inspiration among attendees.
The program also featured exhibitions showcasing scientific, cultural, and handicraft achievements of local residents. Meetings with active women focused on strengthening national unity, promoting family values, educating the younger generation, and enhancing the role of women in society.
The delegation subsequently continued its visit in Mir Sayyid Ali Hamadoni District, where a series of educational and awareness-raising events were held. The main gathering took place at the Odina Hoshim People’s Philharmonic Hall with the participation of community members and representatives from various sectors.
Participants emphasized the importance of National Unity and State Independence as key pillars of peace, stability, and sustainable development. Discussions also addressed women’s education and empowerment, preservation of national traditions, strengthening family institutions, and promoting national cultural values.
