Every year on May 15, the International Day of Families is observed worldwide. It is within the family environment that individuals learn respect for national traditions, communication culture, mutual understanding, love, and responsibility. To support families and improve family relations, the Republic of Tajikistan has adopted a number of legal and regulatory acts. In particular, the Laws of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Responsibility for the Education and Upbringing of the Child” and “On Prevention of Domestic Violence” provide a favorable framework for protecting family interests and ensuring a healthy social environment.

The President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, has repeatedly emphasized that the family is the foundation of society and the primary source of raising a healthy generation.
