February 23, 2026 will mark 33 years since the establishment of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan, which is considered one of the main pillars of statehood. Over the years, the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan have become an organized, systematic and reliable structure for protecting the country’s borders and homeland. In honor of this historical date, cultural and educational events were held in the cultural and recreational parks of the capital, regional centers, cities and districts of the country with the participation of soldiers, officers and young people of draft age.
In this context, at the initiative of the Executive Body of State Power of the city of Dushanbe, a grand ceremonial and cultural event dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan was held in the capital of the country, Dushanbe.
The meeting was held in a festive atmosphere and high patriotic sentiment, and was attended by the leadership and representatives of the security forces, war and labor veterans, public activists, youth and students.
At the same time, it was emphasized that the celebration of such important dates is not only a tribute to the history of the establishment of the Armed Forces, but also a factor in strengthening the sense of self-awareness, patriotism and civic responsibility of society, especially youth. Thus, a ceremonial and cultural event dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan was held in the city of Dushanbe at a high level, once again proving that the National Army is a source of pride and a reliable support for the state and nation.
A solemn event was also held on the occasion of the worthy celebration of the 33rd anniversary of the Day of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan in the administrative center of the Khatlon region, the city of Bokhtar.
During the solemn event, which was held with the participation of the deputy chairman of the region, heads of law enforcement agencies, and activists from cities and districts, it was stated that in Khatlon region, specific measures have been implemented to strengthen the defense potential and improve service conditions, and the material and technical base and infrastructure of military units are gradually being strengthened in accordance with the requirements of the time.
It was assured that the officers and soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan will continue to remain faithful to their military oath and, with a high sense of national pride and filial responsibility, will fulfill their honorable duties before the state and nation.
In order to celebrate the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan at a high mass and political level, a solemn event was also held in the regional theater named after Mehrubon Nazarov in the city of Khorug.
It was noted that from the first days of its establishment, the Government of the country has paid special attention to strengthening the material, financial, equipment, technical and personnel foundations of this important pillar of the state, constantly strengthening its potential and creating new units and units within it. Today, the conditions and stay of soldiers and officers meet all requirements, and they are serving honestly and faithfully without any problems to defend the borders and homeland of the country.
