A cultural and recreational park named after Hakim Abulqosim Firdawsi will be built in the city of Panjakent, on Abuabdullohi Rudaki Street and at the continuation of Saadi Sherozi Street.
The park will begin with a reception square for guests and residents. The height of the park’s entrance gate will be 8 meters, while the length of its side section will be 14 meters.
The main walkway of the park, with a width of 8 meters and a length of 75 meters, will be decorated with national patterns made of domestic ornamental stone and will stretch from the entrance gate to the central square.
In the upper part of this square, a statue of Hakim Abulqosim Firdawsi Tusi, with a height of 5.5 meters, will be erected. The pedestal of the monument will be 6.2 meters high and 3.4 meters wide. It will be decorated with elegant Aryan-style columns and inscriptions bearing the name of Hakim Abulqosim Firdawsi Tusi in two languages.

Around the monument, beautiful fountains, wooden and marble benches, and large marble pavilions are planned for reading the immortal work “Shahnameh,” that is, for holding Shahnameh recitation gatherings.
After the completion of construction and commissioning, the cultural and recreational park named after Hakim Abulqosim Firdawsi Tusi will become an attractive destination for leisure and recreation for guests and residents of the city and surrounding villages, as well as for admirers and lovers of the poet’s works, offering a special place for reading the immortal epic “Shahnameh” in the ancient city of Panjakent.
