Large-scale construction and development projects are continuing in Qubodiyon District as part of preparations for the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan. The implementation of numerous socio-economic initiatives is contributing to infrastructure development and improving living standards for local residents.
According to the district executive authority, the construction and renovation of 171 facilities have been planned in connection with the national celebration. To date, 152 of these facilities have already been commissioned, while the remaining projects are progressing under the close supervision of local authorities.
One of the most significant developments is the launch of construction of the district’s first multi-storey residential complex. The project, implemented by “Rushdi Istiqlol 2015” LLC, is expected to enhance the architectural appearance of the district center and provide modern housing opportunities for dozens of families.
Construction activities are underway across all local communities of the district. Dozens of social, service, and industrial facilities have already been completed in the Qubodiyon, Nosiri Khusrav, Chorbog, Vobkand, Qayqubod, Zarkamar, Navobod, and Takhti Sangin communities, while several other projects are nearing completion.
Industrial development remains a key priority. To support entrepreneurship and expand manufacturing capacity, land plots have been allocated to dozens of entrepreneurs. New enterprises focused on industrial production, agricultural processing, and construction materials manufacturing are currently under construction, with some projects already reaching the equipment installation stage.
The education sector has also seen significant progress. Over the past few years, additional classroom facilities accommodating more than 3,000 students have been built and put into operation, helping improve learning conditions and reduce classroom shortages.
Substantial improvements have also been made in the healthcare sector. New medical points, health centers, and healthcare facilities have been constructed, enhancing access to and the quality of medical services for residents.
Development and beautification efforts in Qubodiyon continue at an accelerated pace, with government institutions, entrepreneurs, and local residents actively contributing to the worthy celebration of the 35th anniversary of Tajikistan’s State Independence.
