Today, the state visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, to the People’s Republic of China began with an official welcoming ceremony in Tiananmen Square.
The high-ranking guest, the Head of State of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, was warmly and sincerely greeted by President of the People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping, and invited to the podium of honor.
The official welcoming ceremony continued with a marching guard of honor, the playing of the national anthems of Tajikistan and China, a review of the officers and soldiers, a tribute to the National Flag of the People’s Republic of China, and the introduction of the official delegations of the two countries by the heads of state.
In honor of the high-ranking guest, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, 21 cannon salutes were fired in accordance with the protocol for state visits.
