From April 30 to May 2, 2026, tourism companies of the Republic of Tajikistan participated in the “Bishkek International Tourism Fair 2026 (BITF 2026)” held in Bishkek, where they presented the national tourism pavilion of the country.
Leading tourism companies of Tajikistan represented the country at the exhibition, showcasing its tourism potential, rich historical and cultural heritage, modern infrastructure, and a wide range of tourism products.
During the event, participants discussed the promotion of tourism destinations in international markets, attraction of investments, development of transport and tourism infrastructure, implementation of digital technologies, and expansion of international cooperation. Special attention was paid to the development of eco-tourism and mountain tourism, creation of new travel routes, and improvement of tourism service quality.
Within the framework of the exhibition, Tajik tourism companies held several bilateral meetings with foreign partners to discuss prospects for expanding partnership relations and strengthening sectoral cooperation.
As a result of the exhibition, 11 cooperation agreements were signed between tourism companies of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.
Tajikistan’s participation in “BITF 2026” contributed to the further promotion of the country’s tourism potential in the international arena, expansion of business ties, and exploration of new markets, once again confirming the importance of the exhibition as an effective platform for international cooperation in the tourism sector.
