At the International University of tourism and entrepreneurship of Tajikistan, within the framework of the International forum “Cooperation for sustainable development: Green. Digital. Smart.”, the International rectors’ summit titled “Universities of the Future: Green. Digital. Smart.” and a grand Navruz celebration were held.
The official part of the summit began with an opening speech by the university rector. In his address, he warmly welcomed the guests and participants, emphasizing the importance of holding such events in the context of globalization. It was noted that the summit creates a solid foundation for expanding cooperation among higher education institutions, implementing digital technologies, developing “green” universities, and applying smart solutions in educational management.
During the summit, participants discussed key issues including the sustainable development of the education system, the digitalization of educational processes, the introduction of innovative technologies, and improving the competitiveness of universities.
Environmental protection and the efficient use of resources, as well as the introduction of modern information technologies and “smart” systems into the management of educational institutions, were also among the major topics of discussion.
Speakers also stressed the importance of strengthening international ties, launching joint research programs, and promoting the exchange of professors and students. It was emphasized that only through comprehensive cooperation and the use of advanced experience can sustainable development in higher education be achieved.
At the conclusion of the summit, participants expressed their readiness to further expand cooperation and described such events as an effective platform for exchanging knowledge, experience, and building strategic partnerships.
