From April 14 to 18, 2026, Dushanbe will host one of the high-level conferences, the international forum “Cooperation for Sustainable Development: Green. Digital. Smart”. This forum will be held at the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan in coordination with the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan. In order to prepare for this major conference and its high-level holding, a working meeting was held at the university. The university’s leadership, speaking at the event, noted that the Forum is a multi-level international platform that brings together state institutions, the scientific and academic community, the private sector, international organizations and youth to discuss the agenda of sustainable development, the “green” economy, digital transition, artificial intelligence, innovations and “smart” solutions.
More than 23 events are planned to be held within the framework of the forum, including a summit of rectors, international scientific and practical conferences in various areas, a youth environmental forum, a business forum, exhibitions of scientific and innovative projects, startup initiatives, olympiads and competitions, cultural and ecological events, as well as other side events. The forum program will pay special attention to events dedicated to the international initiatives of the Republic of Tajikistan in the field of sustainable development, the “green” economy, artificial intelligence, water resources management and environmental protection, which have been recognized at the global level. It is expected that the forum will be attended by leaders and representatives of scientific and educational institutions, international and regional organizations, diplomatic missions, research and analytical centers, business structures, mass media, expert communities, public organizations, as well as groups of enterprising youth.
