A large-scale cultural event entitled “Glory of Independence” was held in Bokhtar as part of preparations for the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The event took place at the city’s State Emblem Square and brought together local officials, education sector representatives, teachers, students, residents and guests of the city.
Prior to the cultural program, participants visited exhibitions showcasing the achievements of educational and preschool institutions, students’ creative works, handicrafts and traditional national dishes prepared by active women working in the education sector.
Speakers highlighted that State Independence is the greatest national achievement of Tajikistan and has provided the foundation for significant progress in all spheres of public life, including economic, social and cultural development.
The event also featured an award ceremony for winners of the national stage of academic Olympiads. More than 200 outstanding students received diplomas, medals and commemorative gifts in recognition of their achievements.
The cultural program included patriotic songs, educational performances, traditional dances and artistic presentations dedicated to the Homeland, Independence and the achievements of the independence era.
Held in a festive atmosphere, the “Glory of Independence” event further strengthened the spirit of patriotism, national pride and appreciation for the values and achievements of independent Tajikistan.
