Participants of the International Symposium “Ancient Khuttal” Visited Historical Sites of Khovaling and Baljuvon

As part of the International Symposium “Ancient Khuttal — the Cradle of the Emergence of the Tajik-Persian Language and the Ancient Civilization of Central Asia,” the cultural and educational program continued with scholars and guests from various countries visiting historical and cultural landmarks in the districts of Khovaling and Baljuvon.

The participants first visited the Kuldara archaeological site in Khovaling District, recognized as one of the oldest human settlements in Central Asia. Guests also toured the Stone Age Museum and the District Museum of History and Local Lore, where unique archaeological artifacts reflecting the region’s ancient history and rich cultural heritage are preserved.

As part of the continuing program, the delegation visited Baljuvon District and toured the historic Baljuvon Fortress. Participants emphasized the importance of such events in promoting the historical and cultural heritage of the Tajik people and strengthening international cooperation.
