A cultural event dedicated to the 115th anniversary of Hero of Tajikistan and People’s Poet Mirzo Tursunzoda was held in Shahrinav District. The event brought together local authorities, cultural figures, teachers, and students.
It was highlighted that Mirzo Tursunzoda was one of the most prominent poets and public figures who made a significant contribution to the development of modern Tajik literature and the promotion of humanistic values.
Prior to the event, guests visited an exhibition dedicated to the poet’s literary heritage. Students recited his poems with great enthusiasm and skill.
Speakers emphasized that Tursunzoda glorified his homeland and introduced Tajikistan to the world as a land of peace and friendship. A statement by Emomali Rahmon was also cited, highlighting the poet’s enduring legacy.
