Navruz is one of the greatest and most beloved Tajik holidays, which has reached our time from ancient times as a valuable heritage of our noble ancestors. This historical holiday was revived and became global precisely during the country’s independence. From another point of view, Navruz, as a tourism brand, helps attract tourists to the country.
Reliable sources indicate that Navruz was founded on the basis of deep and broad ideas and a worldview that have become the reason for the persistence of the identity and existence of our people, our customs, rituals, and national traditions and customs to this day.
This year, within the framework of the celebration of Navruz, several events are planned to be held in the capital of the country alone, such as the International Tourism Festival “Navruz – Cultural Heritage and Tourism”, the 5th International Forum “Dushanbe – Navruz – the base of Cultural and Tourism Relations”, a ceremony to welcome the International Navruz Holiday from the highest point of Dushanbe, a festive concert dedicated to the celebration of the International Navruz Holiday, the Festival of “National Cuisine”, the Festival of “Navruz Sports Games”, cultural programs in the districts of the capital, and the Youth Friendship Festival of the capital under the title “Youth – Followers of the Leader of the Nation and Heirs of Navruz Traditions”. Holding such grand events in the country will be a factor in attracting more foreign tourists and attracting the attention of the international community.
