
The State Television Institution “Tourism and Folk Crafts” was established by Decree No. 271 of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated June 30, 2021, and official broadcasting of television programs began on April 1, 2022.
The program’s purpose is to promote the key policy directions of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in relevant areas, develop programs on tourism and folk crafts, as well as other events held in the country and abroad, organize television programs to develop tourism and folk crafts, promote and encourage services, and create various videos presenting the country in terms of tourist attractions and historical sites, artisans, and entrepreneurs.
Starting September 1, 2022, the television program “Tourism and Folk Crafts” will be broadcast via satellite.

In accordance with the Charter, the staff of the “Tourism and Folk Crafts” TV channel are responsible for promoting the main policies of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in their respective areas, developing tourism and crafts programs, as well as other events held in the country and abroad, organizing television programs to develop tourism and folk crafts, promoting and encouraging services, developing video advertising, various presentations of the country’s tourist attractions and historical sites, and attracting artisans and entrepreneurs.
