Along with other residents of the country’s cities and districts, the residents of Buston also celebrated the ancestral holiday – Nawruz, which was celebrated with immense joy and celebration, thanksgiving for the peaceful atmosphere of the homeland. At the Nowruz celebration, along with the residents of Buston, guests from inside and outside the country had the opportunity to get acquainted with the achievements, customs and traditions of Nawruz and the national culture of the Tajiks.

Representatives of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Executive Body of the State Power of the Sughd Region, and the leadership of the city of Buston visited the Nowruz tents and highly appreciated the artisanship of women who exhibited Nawruz foods, national clothes, and handicrafts.

Representatives of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Deputy Chairman of the Sughd region congratulated the hardworking and proud residents of the city of Buston with the arriving of the international Navruz, and recalled the attention and constructive actions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon. The Mayor of the city of Buston stated that Navruz, as a celebration of the revival of nature and the beginning of the ancestral calendar, is sacred not only for the Tajik people, but also for the entire cultural sphere of Persian-speaking and Oriyon peoples.

At the end of the event a colorful cultural program was presented to the residents and guests of Buston city.
