In the Mir Said Ali Hamadoni district, a festive event on the occasion of Mother’s Day began with a presentation of folk crafts. The festive exhibition presented the products of the district’s women’s handicrafts, which demonstrate artisanship of the women and mothers of the district, their growing interest in the revival of folk crafts, the development and expansion of the tradition of crafts, and the involvement of girls in the study of ancient rituals.

The solemn part of the event was held in the hall of the People’s Philharmonic with the participation of the district leadership, representatives of various professions, and a wide range of active women of the district.

It was emphasized that the annual celebration of Mother’s Day throughout the country testifies to the full attention  of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan to this segment of society. In the state policy of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, women occupy a special place, and their worthy and significant activities are felt in all areas.

In order to motivate a group of active women of the district, they were awarded with certificates of appreciation and commemorative gifts for their valuable contribution to the implementation of the goals of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the prosperity and progress of important sectors of statehood.

In the final part of the event, the cultural program of the artists of the district, consisting of high-quality songs praising the greatness of the mother, was presented to the participants.
