At a press conference of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Tajikistan, it was noted that during 2024, the prosecutor’s office conducted 6,973 inspections, initiated 4,172 criminal cases, brought 62,945 people to disciplinary, material and administrative liability, and restored the rights and interests of 261,022 people.

At the same time, it was noted that 137 inspections were conducted in the field of compliance with and implementation of legislation on state protection and support of entrepreneurship.

Also 274 people were held accountable, and 24 criminal cases were initiated.

During the reporting period, 1,692 people were held accountable for violating the regulations on celebrations and ceremonies and 4,746 for violating the education and upbringing of children, and 237 cases of obstruction of basic compulsory education were identified and measures were taken.
