The volume of gross domestic product amounted to 153.4 billion somoni. At a press conference of the Ministry of Finance of the country, it was said that according to official statistical data, in January-December 2024, the volume of Gross Domestic Product amounted to 153.4 billion somoni, and its growth rate was 8.4%. In connection with the development of sectors of the national economy, the implementation of the state budget revenue plan was ensured at the level of 104.1%, and more than 46.9 billion somoni were received into this budget.

During this period, the implementation of the current revenue plan of the state budget, taking into account grants to support the budget, was ensured at the level of 109.2 percent, and the inflow of funds amounted to 33.5 billion somoni.

At the same time, during the meeting, it was noted that within the framework of the resolution of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan “On the Rules for Issuing Permits to Individuals for the Extraction of Mineral Resources by the Method of Self-Operation and Self-Delivery” dated November 27, 2019, in 2024 alone, 379 applicants were issued permits for the extraction and processing of mineral resources by the method of self-operation and self-delivery.

Also, during the reporting period, within the framework of the implementation of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On the Licensing System”, the ministry, as an authorized body, along with issuing licenses in other areas, issued 43 certificates for engaging in the activity of making jewelry from precious metals and stones.
