SINGAPORE MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT UNIVERSITY BRANCH IN DUSHANBE HAS PRIORITIZED THE TRAINING OF TOURISM STAFF

During a press conference at the Singapore Institute of Management Development Branch in Dushanbe, it was stated that the Institute trains specialists in 26 specialties, with more than 11,000 students studying there, of which about 3,000 are foreign students from 62 countries of the world.

It was noted that the Institute’s Branch has received a license from the Agency for Supervision of Education and Science under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan to open specialties in the 2024 academic year in such relevant fields as “International Tourism Management”, “Business and Finance Management”, “Business and Marketing Management”, “Cybersecurity”, and “Information Technology”, and it is expected that several more specialties in the tourism industry will be established in the future.

In the continuation of the press conference with noted that studies and analyses have shown that the existing specialties and faculties at the Singapore Institute of Management Development Branch in Dushanbe, in the current conditions of the Republic of Tajikistan and in line with the needs, will be used to train qualified specialists, primarily in three priority areas – tourism and hospitality, finance, business, marketing and industrial management, and at the same time, information technology and cybersecurity.
