As part of the implementation of the “State Program for Greening the Republic of Tajikistan for the period until 2040”, a tree planting campaign was held in Khuroson district, at the initiative of the Main Department for Environmental Protection in Khatlon region, in which officials of relevant structures, activists, and local residents participated.

According to information, this time, 1,500 shady and evergreen trees were planted in the greening campaign. According to experts, the planted trees not only contribute to the well-being of the environment and the improvement of the roadside landscape, but also play an important role in reducing the impact of soil erosion, keeping the air clean, and ensuring a healthy environment.

It should be noted that on this day, as part of the implementation of the “State Program on Greening the Republic of Tajikistan for the period until 2040”, extensive greening and landscaping work is underway in all cities and districts of the Khatlon region.
