In order to implement the instructions of the Head of State in the direction of effective land use, its agrotechnical work and increasing crop productivity, rational and effective use of irrigated lands, the Chairman of Khatlon region visited the work of farmers in the Kushoniyon district.

The Chairman of Khatlon region, together with the country’s farmers, got acquainted with the activities of farmers of the “Yormahmad” farm in the Navbahor rural community. It was revealed that the farmers of this farm have more than 4 hectares of land at their disposal and are engaged in growing various crops, including tomatoes, cucumbers, sweet peppers, cabbage and other crops.

In the Kushoniyon district, the main occupation of residents is agriculture, and increasing the efficiency of land use, obtaining several crops from one land, organizing seasonal and permanent greenhouses, and using advanced practices are constantly and well implemented.

It was reported that the newly built greenhouse of the “Yormahmad” farm is aimed at growing agricultural products with the aim of ensuring food security and providing the country’s residents with fresh, ecologically products. Today, the greenhouse is used to grow tomatoes, cucumbers, cabbage, and other crops.
