NEW AIR ROUTES WILL BE LAUNCHED TO 6 COUNTRIES OF THE WORLD BY 2025

“In 2024, the country’s international airports served a total of 3 million 362 thousand passengers, which is 316 thousand 500 passengers or 8.6% less than last year,” – this was stated at a press conference of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.

At the same time, it was noted that during the reporting period, regular flights were launched on the routes Dushanbe – Boku, Khujand – Urumchi, Dushanbe – Doha and Dushanbe – Tbilisi. Also, 11 thousand 737 flights were carried out at the country’s international airports, which is 501 flights or 4% less than last year.

It was noted that flights with the Republics of Cyprus, South Korea, Hungary, Great Britain and Northern Ireland will be launched in 2025, and it is expected to launch a new air route between Dushanbe-Kish-Dushanbe, which is considered an important event in the aviation and tourism sectors of Tajikistan and will contribute to the development of the tourism sector and strengthening cooperation.
