Along with other high-level events, today, on the sidelines of the state visit of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, to the Republic of Tajikistan, a Forum of Scientists and Researchers from the Republic of Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran was held at the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan.

Before the start of the forum, Iranian scientists and researchers viewed the exhibition of achievements of scientists and researchers from the scientific research institutions of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan and highly appreciated the achievements of scientists and researchers.

It should be noted that the purpose of holding the forum is to further strengthen multilateral and bilateral interstate cooperation in the field of science and technology, to unite the scientific potential of scientists from the Republic of Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran, as well as to discuss issues of coordinating scientific research within the framework of a one program.

The forum analyzed and discussed the issues of analyzing and identifying priority areas of joint scientific work, promoting effective scientific integration in Tajikistan and Iran, developing new scientific projects, conducting joint scientific expeditions, promoting the dissemination of production experience in the field of science in Tajikistan and Iran in order to improve the quality of training scientific personnel, identifying priority areas for the development of fundamental scientific research and developing measures to introduce their results into modern science.

In the forum issues of analysis and determination of priority areas of joint scientific work, promotion of effective scientific integration in Tajikistan and Iran, development of new scientific projects, joint scientific expeditions, promotion of industrial experience in the field of science in Tajikistan and Iran with the goal of improving the quality of training of scientific personnel, determination of priority areas of development of fundamental scientific research and development of measures for implementation of their results in the direction of modern science have been analyzed and discussed.
